Blog Challenge Day 09

Day 09: If you only had 2 weeks to live, what would you do different with your life, if anything?

If I only had 2 weeks, well I would make sure that everyone knew how I feel about them. I would spend my last days with my family and tell my daughter that even after I am gone, I am extremely proud of her, love her like no other, will always be there with her and want her to continue working towards her dream of beginning a manga artist living in Japan. I would tell me husband that I completely forgive him for all the crap he has put me through and that I want him to find a woman (without feeling guilty) that will take care of him (while treating Raven as her own) and make him happy. I would spend those last days having the most fun with my family as I could. I would also take a trip to beat the living shit out of someone who (in my eyes) deserves it and it is long overdue. OK, maybe I would not do that last thing because I would not want my last days filled with hate but I sure in the hell would want to do it.

Blog Challenge Day 08 & Other Stuff

Day 08: Review a movie.

For today’s blog challenge I am supposed to review a movie. But since I now write for HorrorNews.net (and I recently reviewed a movie there) I’m just going to direct you to that page.

Raven started 8th grade on Thursday August 19. Just one more year and she will be in high school. Hard to believe. She swears this year is going to suck and go by soooooo slow. I seem to be one of the few parents that did not look forward to their child going back to school.

I finally got a desk for myself. For the last few years, I have used the bed as my desk. It was not convent and kind of a pain in the ass at times. However, I never wanted to spend the money to get myself a desk. Well, this past weekend I bit the bullet and bought a small desk for $29 at Walmart. I am so glad I did. It is small but that is all I really need. I like having a place to work while having the bed open to relax and what not. The desk also gives Jedi another place to sleep.

Halloween is quickly approaching and I am getting uber excited! For the past few years, I have worked outside the home and (even though I love Halloween) was too tired to do much of anything on my days off. Well, now that I am a freelancer I can work around my own schedule instead of someone else’s and I am planning all kinds of fun Halloween stuff for us to do!

Blog Challenge Day 07

Day 07: Post a picture of a celebrity you’ve been told you look like.

For today’s blog challenge, I am going to do it a little differently. I have not heard that I look like any celebrity and when I use the My Heritage face recognition program, I get results that do not look anything like me whatsoever. Therefore, I am going to ask my lovely readers who they think I look like (celebrity wise).

Blog Challenge Day 06 – Warlock Heal Macro

Day 06: Get a guest blogger to blog this day about any topic the guest blogger wants.

The guest blogger is Katfish  from Game Over who is also my husband. Please visit his blog and show some love!

Whether I’m in PvP or PvE, I will normally be using Fel Amror. Fel Amror is the best option for DPSing but Demon Armor is better for returning health. To switch armor and use a health pot or my fel healthstone, I use a macro.

/stopcasting
/cast Demon Armor
/use Fel Healthstone

Clicking the above macro will switch armor and use your Fel Healthstone with just the one click. If you want, you could add other health items to the end of the macro, such as:

/stopcasting
/cast Demon Armor
/use Fel Healthstone
/use Runic Healing Potion

I choose not to do this because most items aren’t able to be used in PvP arenas. One problem about I hear about with putting mutlible items to be used in the macro is: “I don’t really want to use every healing option I have all at once”. It actually depends on your situation I guess. I’ve been in a life or death situation where I really needed to blow my Healthstone and Healing potion together. For the most part I really don’t need to though.

Using the macro here will give you more health back then if you was still in Fel Armor when the Healthstone was used. Of course you would be using a little mana to switch armors, but to me I feel the small lose in mana is worth it.

Blog Challenge Day 05

Day 05: Post a picture of your window view.

I have two windows in our bedroom so I’m posting both. The view on the left is part of the driveway. The rocks are supposed to be placed throughout the drive way. That’s Raven’s bike towards the right of the picture. The view on the right is the other window in our bedroom. It’s a view of the backyard.
