It’s no surprise to people that know me that I love the holidays! I love the decorating, baking, Christmas shopping, family get-togethers and choosing the Christmas card from Shutterfly that we will be sending to our family and friends. This is the fourth year in a row that we have ordered our personalized cards from Shutterfly. They have truly spoiled me with their high quality products, crisp photo printing and awesome customer service that I have no need or want to look elsewhere for our photo gifts.
The only downside to Shutterfly 2013 Holiday card collection is trying to pick just one design out of their large selection of beautifully crafted cards. It has taken me hours and input from both my husband and daughter to narrow it down to the following five cards:
Dots and Stripes Christmas Card – I love the patterns on this card and how it utilizes the classic red and green Christmas colors.
Framed Wishes Holiday Card – It’s the color scheme that I fell in love with. The blue (that kinda reminds me of the TARDIS) with the dark gray is lovely.
Nostalgic Wishes Holiday Card – This simple design is the ideal way to showcase our favorite photos from this past year.
Heartfelt Blessings Christmas Card – Once again, it’s the color scheme that drew my attention to this card.
Striped Grid Christmas Card – This card is so bright and cheerful! A great choice to wish our family and friends a Merry Christmas.
Shutterfly has added new card design styles for 2013, which include back of card designs and 5×7 tri fold cards and the follow styles:
- Classic: Traditional colors, iconic illustrations, aspirational sentiments, snowflakes, monogram
- Contemporary: trend forward colors, texture and layering, water color techniques, shine, glitter, Instagram pictures are perfect for this style
- Whimsy: humor and nostalgia meet, fun sentiments
- Merry and Bright: all about color and having fun
- Religious: metallic type treatments, incorporated story ideas
- Photo Basics: multiple colors, vertical type, family name highlights
There is also a Twitter party #PhotosYouLove that you can join in hosted by @ResourcefulMom on November 15 at 8pm ET.
